Thesis

AI in production needs new infrastructure.

Every AI product that reaches customers depends on compute scheduling, deployment pipelines, monitoring, security and cost control. Most of that stack predates GPU clusters, model inference and autonomous agents. Seed-stage companies are building its replacement now.

Where we invest. Companies that solve problems for teams already running AI in production: pipelines that recover from their own failures, systems that investigate and resolve incidents, and controls that limit what agents can do.

Why us. Our general partner leads technical due diligence on this layer for US private equity and venture firms. We apply the same review before we invest, which lets us back deeply technical companies that generalist investors struggle to evaluate.

Check size. First checks of $100K to $250K in seed rounds. We work with founders in English and Spanish.

Deal flow. ScaleUp Summit Network, the CNCF and open source communities our general partner helps lead in Latin America, Cuemby's client and partner network, and incubators and accelerators we partner with across the Americas.

Focus

What we back

Four layers of the production AI stack, from agents down to the GPUs they run on.

  • Security and agent control

Permissions, policy, audit and governance for AI agents that act on production systems.

  • Reliability and operations

Observability, automated incident investigation and remediation, and operations software for AI data centers.

  • Platform engineering for AI

Kubernetes-native tooling and CI/CD for teams that build with AI coding assistants and ship AI features.

  • Compute and GPU efficiency

Orchestration, scheduling and compilers that raise GPU utilization and lower the cost of inference.

Founders

How we work with founders

We focus on the infrastructure decisions that are expensive to reverse after seed.

Diligence-grade feedback

You see what our technical review finds across architecture, engineering and security, including the risks we would raise.

Series A readiness

We help you close the technical gaps a Series A investor's review would surface, before that review begins.

Infrastructure depth

Cuemby's engineers run production cloud and Kubernetes systems and build AI platforms for clients. We bring that experience to your architecture, scaling and cloud-cost decisions.

FAQ

Questions founders ask

Short answers to what we hear most. Anything else, ask us on the call.

What stage do you invest in?

Where are the companies you back?

The United States, Canada and Latin America. We work with founders in English and Spanish.

What kinds of companies are a fit?

Technical teams building infrastructure for AI in production: security and agent control, reliability and operations, platform engineering, and compute and GPU efficiency.

How fast will I hear back?

Within 1 week of submitting your company through our intake form.

What does the technical review cover?

Your architecture, engineering, security and roadmap. It is the same review we perform for private equity and venture firms before they invest.

Will I get feedback if you pass?

Yes. When we run a technical review, we share our decision and its findings either way.
